Responsible for ensuring sales and contribution targets are met by managing the activities of sales team. Ensure that department meets its quality objectives by leading, supervising and developing the team. Develop the customer base of the department by formulating and implementing an effective sales plan, in conjunction with other department Maintain and develop the profitability of the department by closely monitoring all aspects of its performance, actively seeking opportunities to improve and implementing effective improvement actions as necessary. Responsible for developing detailed regional sales by customer and achieving maximum level of sales commitment Responsible for developing appropriate promotion strategies for the department in consultation with GM and the corporate marketing manager. Ensure that all departmental sales procedures and policies are implemented as planned and explained to staff. Meets customers to assist his sales team in achieving sales targets. Ensure that all customer complaints are personally responded to a line with agreed procedures. Co-ordinates with after sales team to ensure maximum retention of customer and high level of customer satisfaction.
